The only story related achievement before that one that covers a significant milestone as you progress through the game is earning the achievement for killing Brutus in Axiom Prison, which only 51.8% of all players got, meaning 48.2% of all players never reached Brutus in Axiom Prison. Which means out of all the people who have installed and ever played Path of Exile on Steam, 54.4% of them stopped playing before they got to Merveil. You’ll note that only 46.6% of all players on Steam have killed Merveil, the final boss of Act 1. Maybe not for D4 after this disaster, because they actually dont have an endgame, but you understand why games like this have players playing on and off. I dont think POE has a massive player retention problem, i think its a 10 year old game, and i think most ARPG games will have people moving on and coming back, its normal. You also get enough respec points that if you click wrong you dont need to reroll, but yes planning ahead is a good thing because you dont have endless respec points, thats true.ĥ0% of the entire game population not getting past act 1 is you just blatantly lying for some reason. I feel playing PoE is about progressing your build, either its wierd, gimped or awsome to its limit, then take that experience into the next build/season. Skill tree isnt confusing (imo) because you can make anything and do anything, compared to Diablo4, where only a few skills are usable in a build. This post is just full of misinformation.
